A Better Day

So the weather actually wasn't bitter today! Windy enough to make me constantly stumble so I looked like a pissed twat but that's life. I got up late again today, when you have an electric blanket it makes it even harder to get...I mean, roll out of bed. Though Ian my tutor was very generous this morning and played Christmas songs for us... I think it has something to do with the hilarious meerkat Christmas card I gave him. I know, I'm lovely.
Then when I got home mum was getting ready to go out for the girly Christmas meal, which I am purposely not attending this year after my auntie Diane's drunken escapade last year. If your wondering what that means, she just decided to take over the dance floor and gyrate up against men half her age. Not an experience I would like to re-live. Also the food was quite clearly bought from the frozen food isle in the 99p store and then warmed up in the microwave. Though things aren't all bad, I'm going to stay up tonight with the dogs, watch the soaps and empty my bank account to buy people Christmas presents online.
