Perks of having Tonsillitis
Actually there are none. I would say it was a good excuse to not have to leave the house at all, but unfortunately life goes on and people need milk, bread and dog food and all that crap. So as well as a trip to the Doctors, I've dragged myself to the corner shop. So my life is now sum of chicken soup and woolly pyjamas. At the moment I'm watching St Trinians, a film which isn't one of my favourites but it has Colin Firth in it and that's good enough for me, yes I have a fetish for attactive British middle aged men, so sue me. At least I have this fire to help me sweat out my illness, though I do regret lighting these candles as I think my dog Sid, took it as a romantic suggestion and started to hump my arm. After much explaining to him that's it's not natural and we can never be, he remains sulky on the sofa.
